Shipping and Returns

How we ship

We ship Monday through Friday, and sometimes even Saturday (excluding holidays). Orders placed will typically ship the following business day. During our busy season (Thanksgiving-Christmas), your order may take 1-2 business days to be shipped. Any current shipping delays will be communicated at the top of the cart page. You will receive a confirmation email when your order ships with tracking information.

Shipping carriers experience delays depending on the time of year or other circumstances. We will fulfill your order as quickly as possible but cannot guarantee delivery times.

We only ship with USPS, so please make sure your address is valid with USPS.

Shipping address

If you need to change your shipping address, please reply to your order confirmation email as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address.

Shipping cost

Shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on the items, weight of the shipment, and carrier rates. You can view the shipping cost after entering your address information and selecting the shipping method in your cart before checkout. This cost is set by the carriers (USPS).

Missing or lost packages

Tracking information is emailed once your package ships. You can find the most up-to-date information by clicking the “View and track your order” link in your shipping confirmation email.

In the event that your package appears to be missing or lost I recommend first checking with your local postal carrier to verify it has been delivered. I also recommend asking neighbors and even other members of your household to see if they may have received it by mistake. If the package cannot be located after these steps, please reply to your shipping confirmation email with your name and order number and I’ll be happy to help.


Returns

It is important to me that everyone who purchases from Iris Elm Jewelry & Soap is pleased with their purchase and happy with their ordering experience. I do my best to accurately describe my handmade pieces in photos and item descriptions.

Iris Elm Jewelry and Soap only accepts returns on jewelry that has not been worn and is in new and original condition within 14 days of delivery. Jewelry that has been worn cannot be returned due to sanitary and hygiene reasons. Please keep in mind that many of the jewelry pieces take hours to make and if returned cannot be resold. 

The measurements are included in the description as well as shown in photos. If you are unsure of how the jewelry will look on you, I recommend comparing the measurements to those of your favorite jewelry at home.

Soap and lotion cannot be returned and are non-refundable.

If you decide to return your jewelry purchase than I ask that you please contact me first so I can tell you how to proceed. A full refund will be issued minus shipping costs providing the following:

  • jewelry has not been worn
  • you must contact me within 7 days of delivery
  • items are sent back unworn, and in undamaged condition and in original package within 14 days of delivery.
  • shipping fees (both ways) are non-refundable and remain buyer's cost. I do not provide return labels.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
